Our family shared the love of autumn in the southern Ohio hills. My Mom always loved the stirring melody and wonderful voices that sang this hallmark of autumn songs and thus, it wraps my heart with nostalgic memories.

This page was dedicated in 2001 to my Dad, who always marveled at  autumn's magnificent display as well, and was then witnessing it for the first time, after 60 years, without my Mother. I had the blessing of returning home in October 2004 and taking him to his beloved county fair. He went to be with the Lord 5 days after I left. Autumn's show has become bittersweet for me, as I now take in it's beauty without both my parents. I am reminded with every vibrant leaf I see, of all the seasons we shared. And as each leaf's bond is severed and it flutters to the ground, I am encouraged that though the grass withers, and the flowers fade, the Word of our God abides forever. I miss you, Mom and Dad.
